Vendor FAQ

Q: How do I apply for a table?
A: Vendor table applications are now live, please fill out the form here.

Q: Why do vendors need to donate an item to the live auction?
A: We use your donated item to promote and draw attention to your table during the event. The money raised from auctioning your item will be split evenly between WCSFA and your table.

Q: What is WCSFA?
A: WCSFA is the West Coast Science Fiction Association. A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting genre media in British Columbia. This includes, but is not limited to: science fiction, fantasy, horror, gaming, and more.

Q: Can I bring my own table(s)?
A: No. The venue specifically forbids doing this.

Q: Will power be available for my table?
A: Some tables will be by power outlets but we can not guarantee placement near one. We recommend ensuring your devices are fully charged before the event.

Q: May I sell adult material?
A: This is an unlicensed event, so alcohol and THC products may not be sold here. However, 18+ content may be sold as long as it is kept out of direct view until requested by an adult.

Q: Can I come in costume?
A: We would love that! But please ensure it is appropriate for family audiences.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask?
A: At this time masks are not required, but are *heavily* encouraged, for the health and safety of other vendors, attendees, and our volunteers. We recommend well sealed N95 (or better) masks. Should BC public health adjust requirements in the future, Fandom Bazaar will comply with all requirements.

Q: What happens if I get sick before the event?
A: Contact us at fandombazaar@wcsfa.org as soon as possible before the event, for a refund. Please do not attend Fandom Bazaar if you are sick.

Q: What is the parking situation for vendors?
A: Parking at the venue is extremely limited and first come first served. There is also 2-hour local paid street parking available, and 3 nearby paid parking lots:
– Impark by Royal Columbian Hospital (off of Keary street)
– Advanced Parking (287 Nelson’s Court)
– Impark (Columbia and Hospital)
